• Like every head shop on Michigan street, this place is incredibly mid. For the size of their shop they should carry a lot more glass, and the glass they do carry looks kind of low quality and focuses more on looks than functionality. I don't need a piece that looks cool but then splashes bong water into your mouth every time you take a hit. But honestly at the point in the day I went here I had already been disappointed by every shop on Michigan street and just wanted something cheap and simple. Fortunately they had exactly that so I got out of there for only 50 bucks with a piece that was about 18 inches tall, so that's a lot of glass for not a lot of money. And it's thick and nice glass. But again, the bong was built for style, not functionality, so the upper percolator constantly but slowly drains water from the base of the rig all the way to the top and after about 5-10 rips you have to empty out the top part and refill the base otherwise your weed won't even touch water at the base and the one percolator with water still in it is too full and splashes dirty bong water all over my face 😭 it's a really bad experience but also I am not letting that affect this review because it was so cheap. So honestly kudos for giving me something I can use (albeit with a lot of hassle) for that cheap. If it worked correctly it probably would have cost me 100 bucks so I saved a lot of money and I'm super poor right now so I'm actually quite grateful for the piece. But again, maybe it's just West Michigan in general, but the glass around the Grand Rapids area seems to be garbage on the whole. I've lived in Richmond and in Boston and their selections are simpler, more functional, and they give you a lot of options. Y'all are out here suffering and you don't even know it. I get that it's cool to have a cool looking bong with your friends but I promise eventually you'll regret buying anything from around here because of all the dirty bong water that will splash in your face, how easily the cheap thing glass breaks, and also because there is a severe lack of single honeycomb percolators available in the area. My best advice to anyone new to glass would be to shop online for something simple and sturdy with a single nice percolator (ideally honeycomb) and a long chamber to prevent splashes from going into your mouth. And don't be afraid to drop 100-200 bucks because it will be hard to break them at that price point. I respect that this place has a lot of cool looking pieces, but I wish they dedicated more space to displaying pieces that are purely functional, tall, and simple with only one percolator. Two or more sounds nice until they start making you taste the worst tasting water known to man. But again, this was the best shop I visited on Michigan street. So if you're in the area this is your best bet. But please y'all, demand better from your local headshops. I know a good vibe is important, but I think functional pieces should be the highest priority and I'm just not seeing it anywhere around here.

• Dis spot the place to go frfr! Was so hard to find da backwoods tru wraps but you know midtown came clutch! Da worker wit da face tattoo is hilarious and has great vibes makes the whole experience shopping there a fun time like you at a comedy show da way dawg be cracking jokes as he ring you up!
• The only time I've been to this shop there was a huge selection of disposables on sale – some for as low as $5 which is the cheapest I've seen in the handful of vape stores I've been to. I bought one of the options along with a regular-price store. As soon as I got into my car I opened up the $5 one to try it and to my dismay, I had a mouth full of nicotine juice as well as on my chest and covering my hand. The entire thing had leaked. I immediately went back inside and explained what happened to the guy working. He said that the vapes were on sale because they were defective (really shouldn't sell them then or at least let people know upfront). He did let me switch it for another one at least and the replacement vape has worked without issue. In the end, it was a good experience and will shop there in the future.
