Massive Raid at Greenville Vape Shops: Deputies Seize 1,850 Pounds of Marijuana and $530K

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) — Law enforcement made a large seizure Tuesday in an investigation tied to the distribution of illegal marijuana products after complaints that high-school-aged children were using similar items.

The county’s multi-jurisdictional drug enforcement unit executed two search warrants at Panthers Distribution on Woodruff Road and V-Go on Park Woodruff Drive. Officials say they seized more than 1,850 pounds of marijuana and $530,000.

Deputies are still combing through evidence, and criminal charges are possible against a number of individuals.

The sheriff’s office said the operation was a coordinated effort that included the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office and police departments from Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn and Travelers Rest.
